September 2024 UPDATE

This month has been a great month and we're happy to share recent updates of Wisdome's recent deployment. This video shares the recent deployment from late August 2024.

Summary of New Features in Wisdome

Wisdome has rolled out several exciting new features to enhance both the user and member experience. Here’s a quick overview of these updates and how you can use them:

1. Notification Alerts:

Feature: A notification alert system shows the number of new notifications directly on the dashboard tab.
How to Use: Members can click the bell icon at the top of the dashboard to view and manage their notifications. For example, if a new course is created, they can click the notification to be directed to the course.

2. News Area:

Feature: A new "News" area on the homepage allows you to share updates, events, and important information with members.
How to Use: Go to the settings menu, find the "News Section," and enter your content. You can also embed a welcome video or other multimedia to engage your members.

3. Progress Tracking in Courses:

Feature: Members can now see their progress through courses with a visual progress bar.
How to Use: When a member views a lesson, the progress menu displays their completion status. Upon finishing the course, they can download a certificate of completion.

4. Drag-and-Drop Lesson Reorganisation:

Feature: Easily rearrange lessons within modules using a drag-and-drop function.
How to Use: In the course settings, click 'Organize,' then drag and drop lessons to the desired order and click 'Save' to finalise changes.

5. Course and Content Duplication:

Feature: A new "Copy" function allows you to duplicate entire courses or content folders.
How to Use: Use the copy icon (black icon) to replicate a course or folder, including all associated content, such as subfolders and pages.

6. Folder Expiry Function:

Feature: Set an automatic expiry date for content in both main folders and subfolders.
How to Use: Select the folder, click 'Edit,' toggle the "Expiry Date" function on, choose the desired expiry date, and save your changes. This feature automatically restricts access to the folder after the specified date.

7. Upcoming Email System:

Feature: A new email system will be implemented in September to improve communication with members.
How to Prepare: Monitor for updates and consider how the new email capabilities can enhance your engagement strategies with members.
